The Chichester Festival Theatre is welcoming local choirs to perform before select performances of Choir. Expect a burst of joy and heart-warming harmonies! The perfect prelude to get in the mood for the show whilst you sip your pre-show drink.

Hear some of our local choirs between 6.30pm and 6.45pm outside the Minerva Theatre. Check out the line up and dates below. These sessions are all free to attend whether you're here for the show or just swinging by to support the singers.

If the sun doesn't smile on us, don't worry, our choirs will still perform on the first floor of the Minerva Theatre, outside the entrance to the auditorium.

Tue 5 Aug - Pallant Voices

A vocal group formed post-Covid by a group of friends who wanted to make a joyful noise together. Three years later, we have expanded and perform to support local charities such as Sage House & RNLl.

Mon 11 Aug - CFT's Get Singing

A joyful weekly group singing experience here at CFT on Monday mornings, led by musical director Heather Uden. No experience needed, everyone is welcome to join in and feel the uplifting power of singing together. Find out more.

Thu 14 Aug - The OK Chorale

A fun community choir who meet weekly on Monday mornings at the Fishbourne Centre in the hope of singing some of the right notes in the right order. They have occasionally been known to get through a song without laughing! Whilst fun is the important thing, they do try to be the best they can be.

Mon 18 Aug - The Igloo Choir

A group of fun-loving community singers who take the music seriously, but not themselves! Their focus is creating beautiful harmonies and collaborating on original songs for ensemble voices. 

Wed 20 Aug - Encore Vocal Choir

Encore Vocal Choir perform songs from various genres including rock, pop and musical theatre. We welcome everyone, whether you are an accomplished performer or someone who loves to sing in the shower. You don't need to read music, and there's no audition.
