The Petworth Festival is delighted to announce the appointment of Alastair Waddington as Executive Director

Working alongside acclaimed Artistic Director, Stewart Collins, Alastair's leadership will be instrumental in delivering outstanding festivals, reaching new audiences, and inspiring the next generation's participation in music and the arts in the region. Alastair will play a pivotal role in shaping the festival's future in the build-up to the 50th anniversary celebrations in 2029.

Over a long career Alastair has advised cultural and sports organisations, major events, brands, investors, broadcasters, and digital businesses, and has worked with many of the world's leading brands. He has served on the boards of entertainment, media, and charitable organisations.

Neil Franks, Chairman of the Petworth Festival Trustees, commented:

"Alastair comes to us with a wealth of experience in a distinguished career managing large scale national and international cultural and sports events including a senior leadership role at ITN and Executive Vice President of IMG. We're delighted to welcome him to the Petworth Festival."
