Explore Stansted House in full Christmas spirit as characters from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol welcome you to the house for a Torch Light Christmas Carol.

Mr Dickens has written a new novel, a Ghost Story of all things! Mrs Dickens is not quite convinced it will sell, so she has invited some friends to read from the first draft so see what her friends think. But as she does, the stories come to life, and as you make your way from room to room the characters will recount Scrooges experience from the famous book. But the characters will be very keen to get you involved!

From the Fezziwigs Christmas Party to Scrooges nephew playing party games this will be an immersive tour around the house. But as you descend into the depths of the building the Ghost of Christmas yet to come shows you what might be, the tour comes to a close and then as Christmas Morning breaks make your way to the Servants Quarters to join in some carols, mince pies and mulled wine to end your evening!
