Fay Shaefer will trace the origins of the macabre story from its origins as a Victorian 'penny blood' to the changes that have been made to the original text in the various stage and screen productions that have appeared since. She also considers what makes themes of cannabilism and murder so fascinating ....Doors open at 1.30pm for 2pm presentation at Boxgrove Village Hall, PO18 OEE. Visitors always welcome. £8 on the door for non-members. Free car park and bus stop outside the venue.
