Bag Making - The Camden Bag

2 Day Course - 15th September & 29th September 2026

Come and join us to make this statement bag using jelly rolls or 2.5" fabric strips. Tutor Daphne Morris will guide you through the process of making this unique bag and share her useful hints and tips. The Camden Bag is mainly a machine sewn project but also has elements of hand sewing.

As part of the workshop price, all the interfacings and tubing for handles are provided for you - you will just need to think about the fabric that you want to make your bag from (1 x jelly roll or approx 40 x 2.5" strips of fabric plus binding fabric and a couple of buttons if you desire.)

This is a two day course, with a couple of weeks in between for a bit of homework to help complete your bag. The first session is Tuesday 15th September 10.30am - 4.30pm, and the second session is Tuesday 29th September 10.30am - 4.30pm.

The course costs £145 - a £50 deposit can be taken up front if you would prefer to make your payment in parts.

(Interfacings and tubing provided and additional materials can be purchased prior to your class from The Eternal Maker fabric shop if you should need them.)
