Ceramic Cake Making!

I love this workshop really good fun making a cake that will last forever. Live your childhood dream and make a hand built ceramic cake (2 tier approx 15cm diameter) which you will decorate with piped slip, just as you would decorate with piped butter icing shell piping, pearl beads, lines, dots, run outs and a host of other skills, including how to pipe writing. You can add strawberries, cherries, flowers or decorations. The cake will be bisque fired and you will return to us to use glazes to colour your masterpiece.

This will go in the kiln and returned approx 3 weeks later to you.

This workshop is for beginners or those that have worked with slab pottery before. Please wear old clothes or those you dont mind getting clay on.

There will be refreshments available throughout the workshop, including some cake.
