Chichester District first Farmers' Market was held in 1998. They have been held regularly every month since then, growing in size and frequency over time.
Local food has less far to travel so can be delivered and sold soon after it is picked. All the traders at Chichester Farmers Market are from a 50 mile radius of the City. The food should be fresh, seasonal and ready for your plate. You can meet the people behind the product, ask how to cook it and maybe what to serve it with.
