About the show: A Criminal Melody is a comedy spoof of film noir detectives that satirises the criminal justice system. Following Detective Inspector Paulethiast Razmataz, visited by his ex-wifes ghost and three Criminal Spirits,. The show blends A Christmas Carol with absurd detective tropes.
About the artists: Kitchen Sink Productions create live and digital theatre which is underpinned by human experiences and relationships. Rooted in naturalistic storytelling, their work explores the qualities of human connection through narrative driven performances that feel both familiar and profoundly affecting. Their work is shaped by a distinctive aesthetic which weaves together sound, movement and imagery to create theatre which is compelling, emotionally resonant and grounded in connection.
