About the show: Life is hard, take a card! The Rat Race is a political boardgame; think Monopoly and The Game of Life have a child and that child is the anti-Christ. The audience are players, either racing to the top of the capitalist ladder or working together for a socialist utopia.
About the artists: Evie Adamson and Cable Hughes. Evie (she/her) and Cable (they/them) are third year theatre students at the University of Chichester. Together they break new ground and explore experimental forms of theatre. This project was originally created during the Theatre, Politics and Activism module last academic year, in which they wanted to playfully discuss the systemic political issues humanity faces.
