 Rock icon Iggy Pop gave Jo her first break, having read The Guardian 4 star review of Weathering The Storm he played this on his BBC Radio 6 music show. 

A jazz singer and song stylist, known as having an intimate, velvet, smoky, bluesy tone, she is said to be able to 'melt even the chilliest of hearts'. Jo won best jazz album 2023 for her co-written album, When Winter Turns to Spring, (Jo Harrop/Paul Edis). Her latest album is The Path of a Tear.
