Childrens Workshop | Summer Art Club: Music and Art Collage 7+

Echoing Haroun Hayward's practice, listen to different kinds of music for inspiration to create your own collages in this fun, multi-sensory workshop!

We will explore the close connection between music and art by focusing on how musicians and artists alike have been inspired by landscapes. In this guided session, participants will respond to music using a range of media, including drawing materials and collage techniques. We will consider how music can be portrayed through colour, form, shape, line and pattern.

By drawing spontaneously, participants will use their senses to portray rhythm and sound visually. These drawings will then be used as the starting point for a collage of a landscape, real or imagined.
