Join us at our Community Crafting Group - where we get together and use our crafting skills to make things for others.

This month (with a nod to Valentine's Day) we will once again be making heart cushions for breast surgery patients at St Richard's Hospital. These are a practical and decorative support which can be used in a variety of ways. They are distributed by the Macmillan nurses at the hospital and are very much appreciated. Last time we did this we managed to make more than 30 cushions in one afternoon!

We have all the resources required to make the cushions, we just need the people - come along and lend a hand! You can cut out the fabric, do some machine sewing, snip the curves, stuff the cushions, sew them up, write and attach the labels, or make sure everyone is supplied with tea and coffee - there is a job for everyone.
