East Pointers with Saije
Canadian and Australian Music at the Old Malthouse Canadian duo The East Pointers make a welcome return to Chidham's Old Malthouse with special guests, indie folk duo Saije from Australia.
The East Pointers last WemsFest appearance was in the same venue over three years ago, but sadly the visit was marred a few days later by the sudden death of member Koady Chaisson from a previously unknown heart condition.
Many bands would have folded but fiddler Tim Chaisson and guitarist Jake Charron decided to soldier on with their glorious combination of folk, pop and dance music which has won them prestigious Juno awards in their native Canada and fans literally all over the world.
Multi award winning Saije have toured extensively in Australia, Canada and Europe since forming in 2019 and will open the evening.
