Take part in traditional Easter activities with a contemporary twist.
Explore our Museum
Join us for an eco-friendly Easter to celebrate the season in a sustainable way.
- Take part in the Eco Easter Trail. Set off on a free range adventure round the site to find Easter decorations made from recycled materials and have a go to making your own at our woodland Eco Making Station.
- Folklore Storytelling with Dawn Nelson Hear stories about Easter….
- Visit our Newdigate bakehouse to try one of our traditionally baked Easter biscuits.
Get Hands on!
- Make some spring themed nature crafts and traditional Easter decorations from recycled and natural materials. Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 and Tuesday 15 to Thursday 17.
- Make a woolly pom-pom South Downs sheep.
- Learn the art of Origami and make some Easter animals in the Victorian school.
- Learn how to make a compostable flower pot and then plant a seed to take home, nurture and watch it grow!
- Or borrow one of our nature bags and take it with you on your travels as you explore our 40 acre site.
