Evening Christmas at Stansted House

After the sun has set, step inside the beautiful Stansted House and enjoy a special evening upstairs, downstairs experience.

Explore the family seat of the Earls of Bessborough after it has been decorated for the festive season and admire the stunning State Rooms, once used to entertain politicians, actors and royalty, before moving downstairs to discover the extensive Servants Quarters.

In the Music Room, our pianist will be performing a beautiful mixture of jazz and festive music throughout the evening.

Our knowledgeable volunteer stewards will be around the House to provide you with more information about the history of the Estate and the people who once lived and worked at Stansted Park.

Last admission to Stansted House will be at 7pm, with the House closing at 8pm. Prebooking for this event is essential.

Please note that the Chapel of St Paul will not be open on these dates.
