Musicians Make the Long Journey South

From Orkney to Chidham is nearly 800 miles, but Scottish folk group FARA are making this journey to play The Old Malthouse on Saturday 29 March.

The three Orcadian fiddle musicians in FARA  Jeana Leslie, Catriona Price, and Kristan Harvey are stopping in Inverness to collect pianist Rory Matheson. Collectively theyre celebrating the tenth year of performing together and their third appearing as part of the WemsFest programme of events.

Their journey so far has seen them release four albums, win a string of industry awards, and tour to more than 20 countries of the world.
