Feast of Fiddles
Much Loved Folk Band Comes to Emsworth
Feast of Fiddles - a folk collective who include past members of some of the UKs top folk bands - appear at St James Church, Emsworth on Tuesday 15 April.
This 10-piece band visit Emsworth as part of a 12-date tour of England and Wales,celebrating their 30th Birthday.
Their current lineup includes six top fiddle players: Simon Swarbrick (Merry Hell), Garry Blakeley, Ian Cutler, Brian McNeill, Marion Fleetwood, and Tom Leary (Little Johnny England and Steve Gibbons).
The engine room of the band comprises founding member Hugh Crabtree (melodeon) drummer Dave Mattacks (Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and
currently working with Roseanne Cash), guitarist Martin Vincent (Albion Dance Band), and bass guitarist Dave Harding.
