Frederic Chopin Poetry and Passion
Angela Zanders' talk will explain that although Chopin's piano music is known and loved the world over, his musical output was actually a passionate expression of a life beset by illness and tragedy, well ahead of its time and full of challenges for both performer and listener.
Angela is a multi-talented piano soloist, accompanist and teacher as well as an inspirational speaker on a range of musical subjects. She has lectured in Music Appreciation for Birkbeck College, the WEA and U3A, is an adjudicator for The British and International Federation of Festivals and has been a lecturer at the University of Chichester since 2010.
