Green Man of the Woods Childrens Clay Art Workshop
Organised by : Weald and Downland Living Museum
Create a beautiful Green Man of the Woods using air drying clay. The workshop will run for 3 hours and begin with a discussion about the origins and myths surrounding the Green Man. You will then be shown how to bring the clay to life by sculpting a face and surrounding it with beautiful leaves by impressing foliage into the clay. You will be able to take your clay Green Man home with you and allow it to dry at home.
£25 per person. Children must be aged 6 years and over and be accompanied by one adult.If the adult would also like to make a green man, please buy an additional ticket. Any additional adults must purchase an entry ticket for the day.Fee includes entry to the Museum for those who want to stay and explore further after the workshop.
