Join Chichester based charities Children on the Edge and Sanctuary in Chichester on the evening of World Refugee Day to enjoy a glass of wine, hear directly from arrivals about their experiences, and be updated about the city's latest work with refugees, both at home and abroad, from those on the frontline.

Recently named by the Home Office as the 'most generous place in the country' for hosting Ukrainian arrivals, Chichester has a strong track record of supporting refugees both within the city, and in international crisis situations around the world.

Speakers include refugee journalists from Ukraine and Afghanistan, now living in Chichester, and representatives from Children on the Edge and Sanctuary in Chichester.

We'll be exploring what it takes to create an environment of healing for both arrivals in our district and for refugee children on the border areas of Ukraine, Syria, Myanmar and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

We'll be celebrating community, mutual care, and the human ability to heal and start again.
