Heyshott Down - conservation work

Heyshott Down. It has been agreed with the Warden that we will work over the winter with the reserve's chain-saw handlers in clearing and burning up a particular area of scrub and woodland. The clearance is intended to re-establish and maintain habitats for certain endangered butterflies and orchids. Task leader Ian Godfrey 01243 782501 or 07746 749047.
