Internationally Renowned Award Winners in Chichester
Organised by : Wemsfest
Juno Award Winners, The East Pointers, are building a big following in a wide range of countries and make a welcome return to Wemsfest this month.
Comprising
Tim Chaisson and Jake Charron, the duo from Prince Edward Island in Canada have
been shared on social media by such well known names as Ed Sheeran and Mumford
and Sons. With their energetic and memorable performances of an ever-evolving
mixture of folk, dance and pop they bring joy - and an irresistible urge to
dance - to their audiences.
Appearing
just a few days before the release of their newest album, Schoonertown, their contemporary
folk music will ensure a great night for everyone present as they become the
debut performers at Wemsfests newest venue - Room 12 in Chichester.
They
have become renowned internationally as their music is streamed millions of
times each month, and they are currently enhancing their reputation on a multi
continent tour. They have been lighting up stages in places such as Australia,
Japan, the UK and Europe, Mexico, the USA and New Zealand for years. They are
sure to do the same in our own back yard on the 26th, when they are
supported by talented young singer songwriter, Anouska Assisi.
Monday,
26th January, Room12, Southgate, Chichester, PO19 1ES; doors 6.30pm
with local support.
