James Allsopp has always been inspired by the playing of Stan Getz and the Quartet will be paying tribute to him with a programme reflecting the wide range of Stan's music.

James has been a featured performer for many groups and musicians as have each of the very talented trio he is bringing with him. In 2007 his debut album was nominated for Best Album in the BBC Jazz Awards and a year later he won the Award for Innovation. He currently teaches at the Royal College of Music.

Colin Oxley is recognised as a world class guitarist. Oli Hayhurst's interests and skills have also involved him with both classical and world music. Dave Storey is one of the leading drummers on the London jazz scene.
