Top of the Pops Star Appears in Chichester
John Fiddler
will be remembered by many as half of Medicine Head, originally signed to John
Peels Dandelion label, who had a number 3 hit with One and One is One, and
were one of the truly original bands of the era.
Likened to
Tom Petty and John Melencamp, and at times Jackson Brown, John Fiddlers music
is, however, rather more Americana and blues than straight rock.
He has been
on the music scene for well over 50 years; and although 2023s Warriors of Love
was his first release first
for a decade, Heartwork was released the following year, both to much critical
acclaim; the former was described as a stunning blues album, whilst to many, Heartwork was even better.
A
multi-instrumentalist with a great voice, who is respected throughout the
industry, will be well suited to the intimate and atmospheric Havana in
Chichester when he appears this month. It is sure to be a memorable performance
from John, but please note the earlier starting time this is a matinee
performance.
The show is
at the Havana Bar, Little London, Chichester, PO19 1PH, on Saturday, October 19th
and starts at 2.00pm, doors open at 1.30pm; tickets are £17.50 and available
from Bookends and Harbour Records in Emsworth, as well as wegottickets.com.
