Knucker the Dragon Nature School

Did you know there's a dragon in the woods at the Weald & Downland Living Museum? Dont worry, hes friendly and along with his mini-beast friends has lots to teach you about life in the woods. Once inside the Museum, enjoy a feast of free, forest themed activities this summer.

Visit the Knucker outdoor play area and try out activities such as modelling, weaving, crafts and games. You can also learn how to identify woodland footprints, excavate forest treasures, discover the uses of leaves and plants in the past and have a chance to see like a bug with special glasses.

Drop-in sessions suitable for children of all ages will be open 11am 4pm every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday across the Summer Holidays.
