Jacky Klein tells the story of how the socialite and muse, Peggy Guggenheim, became one of the greatest collectors in the history of modern art. Friends with the leading cultural figures of her day - Beaton, Cocteau, Hepworth and Stravinsky - she took advice from Marcel Duchamp, and married artist, Max Ernst. But why and how did this NY heiress start collecting contemporary art, and how did she end up playing a pivotal role in the making of mid-century Modernism?
