Live Well Midhurst Health Fair
Residents of all ages in Midhurst are being invited to find out more about the different ways they can make healthy changes to their lives at the Live Well Midhurst health fair on Friday 20 February from 10am until 12pm at The Grange Community and Leisure Centre.
Chichester Wellbeing has organised the fair to give the community access to expert guidance and handson support, helping people move towards healthier, more active lifestyles.
Visitors will be able to meet and talk with Chichester Wellbeing and other health professionals on a range of health and wellbeing topics, such as weight management, health eating, stopping smoking, mental wellbeing and reducing alcohol intake. There will also be the chance to have free blood pressure checks and to find out more about the courses that Chichester Wellbeing offer.
Chichester Wellbeing will also be joined by Chichester District Councils Social Prescribers along with a range of community groups including the Midhurst Community Forum, the Alzheimers Society, Age UK, Rother Valley Together and Meals on Wheels.
There will also be some free, gentle exercise taster sessions, free healthy smoothies, a childrens play corner, with information for all ages about health and wellbeing, and staying independent into older age.
