Living History: War of the Three Kingdoms
Join us for our War of the Three Kingdoms weekend, where you can come along and discover what life was like in the 17th Century as depicted by an English Civil Wars Royalist Garrison, as we welcome back The Wardour Garrison Living History Group.
Within the encampment many trades and crafts will be presented such as Lace Making, Embroidery, Crewel Work and other forms of Needlecraft, Rope & Candle Making, Coining and Pole Lathing. Period food will cooked over an open fire. Visitors are encouraged to come into the encampment to interact with the re-enactors and to ask questions and many artefacts may be handled.
