Meet the ancestors from the Stone Age through to the Georgians, learn how they lived and fought with Raven Tor Living History Group
Raven Tor Living History will be descending upon Fishbourne Roman Palace on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June bringing the history of the site of the Palace to life. From the Stone Age hunter-gatherers, to the Romans who once occupied this regional stronghold, through to the Georgian period of the eighteenth century.
Experience thousands of years of craft, costume, and demonstrations of weapons, armour and combat.
Demonstrations will take place throughout the day at 11am, 1pm and 3pm showcasing costume and combat.
Visitors have an opportunity to talk to a wide range of participants portraying historical people such as Romans, Medieval Knights, Georgian Pirates and Smugglers. There will also be displays of maille making, wool and textile crafts and an opportunity to have a go.
Dads Go Free on Fathers' Day
This Fathers' Day we're celebrating dads, grandads and the incredible male role models in our lives. We are granting them free entry to Fishbourne Roman Palace on 21st June 2026 when accompanied by a paying adult.
