This Saturday, 11 October, Chichester celebrates National Bookshop Day — a wonderful opportunity to support our local bookshops, be reminded of the value they bring to our community, browse the shelves, shop local and even kick-start your Christmas gift buying. From Chichester Books and St Olav Christian Bookshop to The Sussex Bookshop, Comics, Games & Coffee, Pallant Gallery Bookshop, Waterstones, and the Oxfam Bookshop, each offers something unique for readers of all ages.
To celebrate National Bookshop Day, The Sussex Bookshop has a fabulous line-up planned — enjoy a morning book signing with local author Kevin ORegan, followed by an afternoon Q&A with Monica Feria-Tinta (booking required by email). With special offers, prizes, and goodie bags throughout the day, its the perfect way to mark this national celebration of books and community.
