Sail To Santa

Once again families can board an elf-powered boat for a gentle ride through the reedbeds to visit Father Christmas. Try the ' Naughty or Nice-0-Metre' before you board, then experience the magic of a festive visit with Father Christmas inside his frosty grotto and receive a WWT present bag.

Sail to Santa runs weekends from Saturday 11 December to Sunday 19 December. This event is typically sells out, so please book early to avoid disappointment!

As well as Sailing to Santa, you must pop in and see the Dalmatian pelicans and visit the diving ducks in the Coastal Creek aviary! Take in the fresh air at our play areas and hand feed the ducks and geese in the Lakes and Forest exhibit some birds will even eat the seed from your hand!

Be sure to head to our Waters Edge Café for a warming treat before you head home we have a wide range of hot drinks and tasty treats to warm you up on a winters day.
