Sew Resourceful - Reusable Foot Mop using a Sewing Machine

At the Scrapstore we are all about reusing and repurposing unwanted items, including textiles. There is so much lovely fabric in the world, some of it just needs to be looked at again and used in a different way.

In this session we'll be using donated fabric and giving it a second life as a fun and practical "Foot Mop" in the shape of a turtle, which you can use over and over again.

We'll guide you through every step of the process and you'll go away with a completed foot mop, plus detailed instructions so you can make many more. (Hint: they make excellent gifts!)

We'll be using donated sewing machines and we don't mind if your sewing skills are a bit rusty - although this pattern does include curves, so if you want to build your confidence on the machine, you might want to start with one of our other sessions.
