Spring Quarterly Event - Chichester Filmmakers
For aspiring and professional film makers, screen talent, and anyone wanting to know more about the film industry or film making, or wanting to get involved in actual film productions in and around Chichester, or looking for help and support with film projects in the community, or help with identifying career opportunities.
Chichester FilmMaker's was launched in 2023 to help develop film and screen skills within the community and provide 'hands on' opportunites to work with actual film industry professionals during film production projects. The founders of Chichester FilmMakers are award winning producers, directors and production specialists with more than 160 years film industry experience, and supported by more than 30 locally based film industry professionals.
This event includes:
- Networking with film industry professionals, film makers, screen actors, cast & crew, sales agents, distributors, investors, producers and directors, including many of the cast & crew from The Barn and local community and student film projects
- Screening of locally produced short films. Past screenings have included The Barn (Chichester FilmMakers & Kate Winslet), Papercut (Issie Collier), and a variety of trailers for Escape, Darkgame, The Ledge, The Barn, Warhol (Adam Ethan Crowe)
- Production Updates for Chichester Film Makers led projects
- Production Updates (community), cast & crew calls for community led projects, from Development, to pre-production, production and post-production distribution and sales
- Studio Tour updates
- Guest speaker (normally from the film industry, a locally produced film, or education). Past guest speakers have included Howard Ford (Director), Mark Adams (Film Festival Consultant and Festival Director), Stephen Baysted (Professor of Music and Film Composer), Adam Ethan-Crowe (Film Director), Gavin Saville (Film Production Consultant and Lecturer), Grace Couzins (Editorial Assistant, Paramount Pictures)
