This group will be playing music from their new suite inspired by a visit to Mexico City last year. Latin American music traditions, language and mythology are woven into a tapestry of contemporary jazz.
Australian born Tara holds a Master's degree in Jazz Performance. She is sought after as both a harpist and a vocalist by a wide range of performers such as Bjork, Stan Sulzmann, Emma Rawicz, Alice Zawadski, Opera North, the Australian World Orchestra and Ronnie Scott's All Stars, the last for their celebration of the music of Burt Bacharach, broadcast by the BBC. Her critically acclaimed debut album "Please Do Not Ignore the Mermaid" was released in 2020.
