Six Weeks of Play, Imagination & Discovery
Join us this summer for Toys Through Time a six-week celebration exploring how toys and games have evolved from the Medieval era to the Victorians.
Every day during the Summer holidays you can take part in our Toys Through Time Trail. Follow our interactive play trail and discounter and play with games from the past.
You can explore our summer Toys Through Time Play Zone outdoor play zone and take part in a hobby horse assault course, play some giant garden games, have a go at croquet and try your hand at Cornhole. Family fun for all ages to enjoy together!
Get hands on at our Toy Making Station and Play Barn every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, activities change each week according to the theme (Medieval, Tudor or Victorian).
Also, at the weekends you can borrow one of our Nature Bags and set off on an outdoor adventure, you can collect one of our Nature Bags on arrival at the Museum.
