Join Jane Clark, Finds Liaison Officer for Sussex, for an evening talk exploring recent archaeological finds from the Chichester area.
The talk will focus on the Stopham Mount the rare Anglo-Saxon gold and garnet sword fitting discovered in Stopham in 2022, on permanent display at The Novium Museum from 20 March 2026.
Jane will also discuss other local finds, including an Iron Age linch pin also discovered in Stopham, and other objects found in Chichester District and recorded through the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
