Sew Resourceful - Reusable Gift Bag using a Sewing Machine

At the Scrapstore we are all about reusing and repurposing unwanted items, including textiles. There is so much lovely fabric in the world, some of it just needs to be looked at again and used in a different way.

In this session we'll be using donated fabric and giving it a second life as a useful drawstring gift bag, which you can use over and over again - perfect for all occasions! (You could also keep it for your own use as a handy storage bag.)

We'll guide you through every step of the process and you'll go away with detailed instructions so you can make more.
We'll be using donated sewing machines and we don't mind if your sewing skills are a bit rusty - this is a straightforward make. What's more, thanks to funding from the West Sussex Waste Prevention Community Fund Grant, we are able to offer this session entirely free of charge.
