Roman History family boat trip on Solar Heritage

Departing Itchenor to Dell Quay and back on our solar-powered boat, Solar Heritage. These special trip will take you up Fishbourne creek, via which Romans accessed the Roman palace, to Dell Quay, once one of the most important ports in England. Learn more about the rich history of Chichester Harbour. Led by Susan Webber from the Novium Museum. We are running two trips on the Tuesday and Wednesday. This trip will be geared towards children and families whereas the Tuesday 27th May 11.30am trip will be geared towards an adult audience.

Experience the beauty, wildlife and history of Chichester Harbour National Landscape on our eco-friendly solar-powered boat, Solar Heritage. A trip aboard offers a quiet and peaceful way to explore the harbour and discover the unique coastal habitats it has to offer. The boat is open-sided with superb panoramic harbour views. There is a large, stable deck and freedom to move around once the trip is underway.  This trip is 1.5 hours duration.
