Visitors can celebrate the father figures in their lives with a special day out at the Weald & Downland Living Museum this Fathers' Day Sunday, 21 June 2026, when all dads can enjoy free entry when accompanied by a paying adult or child. Whether celebrating dads, grandads, uncles, stepdads, or family friends who have always been there, the Museum is welcoming families to spend quality time together exploring its beautiful 40-acre site and historic buildings in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

Fathers' Day is about spending meaningful time together, and the Weald & Downland Living Museum offers families a chance to slow down, explore, and share new experiences together in a truly unique setting. Whether visitors are discovering traditional crafts, exploring our historic buildings, or simply enjoying time outdoors together, we hope families leave with special memories to treasure. Sophie Ferrier, Visitor Experience Manager.

Enjoy a Day Out for the Whole Family

We always love visiting the Weald & Downland Living Museum because there is something for every generation to enjoy. The children love getting hands-on with the activities, while the adults enjoy exploring the historic buildings and learning something new each time we visit.
